A Cotuit firefighter just happened to be in the neighborhood doing inspections when he noticed the blaze and called it in…
A husband and wife were inside the home when they too noticed the fire and alerted the fire department…
A garage and exterior wall were destroyed… the rest of the home had smoke and water damage…
The boat inside the garage was completely consumed by the blaze…
The Santuit Road home is located on the shore of Shoestring Bay…
Firefighters from Cotuit, Sandwich, Mashpee, West Barnstable, and COMM Fire worked quickly to prevent the flames from spreading further…
There were no injuries reported.
