VICIOUS STABBING: Male to CCH with multiple life threatening stab wounds… female also arrives at CCH with slash wounds… possibly related… [Developing] [Video]
Hyannis – Witnesses say that the victim was just trying to be chivalrous by protecting a woman when someone viciously plunged a knife into his back 5 or 6 times…
At 1:31am, Barnstable Police squad cars rushed to the rear of the Quarterdeck Lounge on Route 28 across from the airport for a stabbing…
Hyannis Rescue arrived, found a 27-year-old Marstons Mills man in a pool of his own blood with multiple, as many as 5 to 6, life threatening stab wounds… possibly all to the back… and said to be very close to his spinal cord…
The victim was rushed to CCH where he is fighting for his life this morning…
Meanwhile police put out they were looking for 5 to 6 black males who fled the scene in a large light colored SUV…
Detectives and crime scene investigators were immediately called to the scene and Cape Cod Hospital…
Witnesses say the victim was just trying to break up a fight between a man and a woman outside to the rear of the Quarterdeck Lounge when about 15 people suddenly jumped out of about 3 to 4 nearby cars…
The victim was trying to help the woman, who he reportedly did not know…
The group of about 15 males and females approached and surrounded the victim…
There were reportedly 5 to 6 males beating the victim…
Witnesses described the thud sounds of what they thought were punches to the victim’s body… they turned out to be multiple deep stab wounds…
One wound was reportedly very close to the spine…
Rescue wasted no time, literally scooping him off the pavement and into the ambulance where they spent a brief period working on him prior to transporting…
There was a large puddle of blood behind a cement parking marker…
Police are currently reviewing the Quarterdeck’s surveillance video footage…
Witnesses were shaken and in disbelief…
Meanwhile, across town, police were rushing to a noise complaint at 46 Oak Neck Road…
First officers on scene had to chase a man who attempted to flee as soon as they arrived…
Police investigated a parked Mercedes and discovered “blood all over the place…”
The large light colored SUV related to the stabbing at the Quarterdeck was also described as being related to the scene at 46 Oak Neck Road…
Meanwhile, a woman from the Oak Neck Road scene showed up at CCH with “slash” wounds…
Police found a pair of pants soaked with blood back at 46 Oak Neck Road…
The man who attempted to run off when cops arrived was detained, along with two other suspects…
Police brought a witness to Oak Neck Road from the original stabbing… a male and a female at Oak Neck were released, but remain subjects in the investigation…. The man who attempted to run off was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest… he too remains a subject in the investigation…
Back at CCH the male stabbing victim from the Quarterdeck was last reported to be fighting for his life… there was no word on the condition of the female with slash wounds…
The events of this early morning are still actively being investigated…

The wound turned out to be from pellet gun…

A male was taken into custody for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, the pellet gun…
