HARWICH ACCIDENT RECON SCENE: One reportedly ejected after car slams into tree… one patient airlifted, another transported via ambulance… [HN VIDEO]
HARWICH – [DEVELOPING] – The following HN Video shows an accident reconstruction team working the scene of a serious single car crash in Harwich early this morning. The crash happened sometime after midnight on Great Western Road, a short distance over the town line from Dennis. According to sources, one person was reportedly ejected from the vehicle after impact. There were a total of two occupants/patients. One patient was airlifted from Barnstable Municipal Airport in Hyannis shortly after 1:00 a.m.. The second patient was transported to hospital via ambulance.
HN arrived on scene shortly after 1:15 a.m., accident reconstruction experts were on scene until about 3:15 a.m..
The investigation into the crash scene was active and ongoing at the time of this report. There were no official details regarding the circumstances or the condition of the patients. HN will provide official updates as they are released. [DEVELOPING]
