WOMAN HURT, PARKED CARS MANGLED… [HN VIDEO]
HARWICH PORT – At around 12:24 a.m. this morning, police and firefighters found a pile of mangled wreckage in the parking lot of 333 Route 28 after receiving reports of a single vehicle crash involving two parked cars.
The female driver was said to be still trapped inside of her BMW sedan as first responders arrived on scene. She was transported to Cape Cod Hospital and her condition remains uncertain at the time of this report.
An accident reconstruction investigator and a member of the Barnstable County Sheriff’s crime scene unit were called in to assist in piecing things together.
It is believed the BMW was traveling west along Route 28 when it suddenly left the roadway and completely destroyed two parked vehicles.
The Harwich Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash and HN will provide official updates as they become available…
