HN would like to take a moment to wish everyone a safe and happy Easter.

Regardless of one’s faith, and on a very basic level, Easter is a celebration of hope where the message is to put our worries behind us.

Of course for Christians, it’s much more than that, but the sentiment of maintaining hope is universal. We can decide to hold our heads up and choose to live worry free! It’s possible!

By the way, good always wins eventually, always… think about it. Since the beginning of history, I cannot think of one example where tyranny was not eventually overcome by good. In the news business, I also cannot remember one time when there was more bad news than good. In fact, as a photojournalist, it’s my job to hunt down and expose the rare anomalies in our world. And it’s a challenging and difficult job because on any given day, there is far more peace than fighting… and nearly the entire population will make it to their destinations without being involved in some sort of tragic accident. Typically, only rare anomalies make the headlines.

So, having said that, don’t be fooled by the “news.”

And try to remember,

He is risen indeed.
