Heroin OD & gun charges…
Centerville – Tense moments as COMM Rescue and Barnstable Police responded to a woman not breathing and incapacitated in a black Dodge Neon parked next to the Mobil station at the corner of Old Stage Road and Route 28.
The woman was reportedly suffering from a heroin overdose.
A young female named Danielle was immediately transported to Cape Cod Hospital.
It is uncertain if first responders needed to administer Narcan to reverse the effects of the overdose. Narcan is an opioid antagonist used to counter the deadly effects of opiates, such as heroin or morphine.
Narcan is a major lifesaver in the battle against the current rash of local heroin overdoses.
As rescue rushed to CCH, police turned attention to the male passenger of the Neon.
According to radio transmissions, police arrested a young man by the name of “Jason Tinney” on at least one warrant for gun offenses.

Police are still searching for a gun said to be in Tinney’s possession.
