HN NOTE: Hold the onions batman! (I’m not exactly sure what I mean by that, it’s just one of the silly random phrases that popped into my mind when I heard the following wacky police audio.
HN has covered plenty of bizarre and downright sloppy situations over the years.

… an assault & battery with a breakfast sandwich (or something like that), one time, years ago…
… but dear fellow Hytonians, this – THIS! – is a HN first!
And to top it off, it’s a Hytown Combo! A genuine freakin’ fast food two-for masterpiece of sheer Hytown douchebaggery; the type which leaves one shaking their head, shrugging, barely stunned, or even in disbelief, surrendering by summing it up all up with “welcome to Hyannis,” a cliché and common expression in these parts.
For on today’s HN menu, a generous salty helping of Cape Cod road rage, served up with a special surprise side order tossed in for good measure; just when I’ve thought I’ve seen everything, it’s HN’s very first Hytown hit & run/assault & battery with a hamburger bun!!!

HYANNIS – As you will hear in the following video, Barnstable Police responded to the area of 307 Main Street yesterday afternoon after a man allegedly rammed a female driver with his van before spitting a hamburger bun in her face…
At the time of this report, police were looking for an older man wearing a light blue shirt, shorts, and a baseball cap… who reportedly left his van behind Ocean State Job lot before leaving the area on foot.
- All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
