Upon arrival, officers encountered a 59-year-old Hyannis man who told them he had just been robbed of $80. The suspect, initially described as a “Cape Verdean male in his early 20s,” allegedly pointed a handgun at the Hyannis man’s chest and said, “Give me what’s in your pocket!” The suspect then took the man’s money and fled the area on foot toward Main Street.
