SANDWICH – One person was able to self-extricate, but eventually was transported to CCH after a single vehicle rollover crash on Route 6 westbound, between Exits 4 & 3, at about 11:10 a.m. this morning, according to radio transmissions.

The small 4 door vehicle was heavily damaged and was initially found on it’s side when first responders arrived…

The was reportedly only one person in the vehicle.

Traffic was occasionally shut down or reduced to one lane as first responders hustled to clear the scene of roadway hazards. The roadway was completely reopened after about 20 to 25 minutes.

The Massachusetts State Police is investigating the crash.
