MARSTONS MILLS – The Barnstable Police are investigating a rollover crash that happened at the roundabout at Race Lane and Route 149 Saturday evening, sometime after 10:00 p.m.

Upon arrival, first responders found the driver (the sole occupant) of the pickup truck still entrapped. He was conscious and alert and communicating with rescuers. The truck was up an embankment on its side, and needed to be stabilized while trying to free the driver, according to COMM FD radio transmissions. The male patient was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

The investigation into the cause of the single vehicle crash continued at Cape Cod Hospital.

HYANNIS – Right around bar closing, at around 1:00 a.m. this morning, a single vehicle crashed into the sign for the Law Offices of John C. Manoog III, on South Street at the intersection with Sea Street. There were no inuries and remarkably, the driver was apparently sober and remained on scene (but may be looking at other motor vehicle offenses nonetheless, according to radio transmissions.)
