HN SHOCK VIDEO: Brother and sister both overdose together twice within 7 hour period…
[UPDATED: Initially published on 4/27/2018]
CENTERVILLE – The epidemic rages onward…
… impacting families, first responders, and the greater community in more ways than one.
Early this morning, at about 1:45AM, we had a brother and sister overdose at the same Centerville residence, at the exact same time, and it was the second time first responders paid them a visit this particular evening.
Less than 7 hours earlier, at about 7:30PM, first responders treated the same brother and sister when they both overdosed together for the first time in the evening.
This morning’s call went out as another “priority one,” and was definitely life threatening. Emergency medical instructions were given over the phone while police and firefighters rushed to the scene, lights flashing and sirens blaring.
One police dispatcher overheard someone at the scene telling another to “move the needles…”
This was just another night on Cape Cod. Just another night in what has become known as “the epidemic.”
Both siblings eventually responded to treatment – again – and were able to walk out to separate matching ambulances for their own separate rides down to CCH – again.
And on and on it goes…
