HYANNIS – [DEVELOPING] – As you will see in the following dramatic HN Shock Video, HN was in the middle of a live shot filming the snow storm when someone allegedly hopped into a running vehicle and stole it from the bus station in downtown Hyannis.
HN is rolling on video as an alert plainclothes Barnstable Police Officer spots the suspect driving the stolen vehicle in the area of Route 132.
It was snowing heavily when the Barnstable Officer activated his lights and sirens in an attempt to stop the stolen vehicle.
A pursuit ensued and the HN Video continues as the stolen vehicle takes off towards route 6.
While on Route 6, a Barnstable Police Lieutenant made the wise decision to break off the pursuit due to weather conditions and because the suspect was unlikely to yield for officers.

There were some tense moments until an officer announces that the suspect is in custody.
According to radio traffic, the suspect was identified as a “Brandon Campbell,” but that has not yet been officially confirmed.
