BARNSTABLE – [DEVELOPING] It happened on Route 132 right at the EXIT 6 off-ramp from Route 6 at about 7:25PM….

A motorcycle crashed with a BMW sedan… with the motorcyclist landing in the roadway…

The motorcyclist was rushed to CCH after bystanders attempted CPR, according to emergency radio transmissions… (it sounded very serious)

Medflight helicopters reportedly were unavailable…

A Barnstable Police accident reconstruction expert was called in to investigate. According to radio transmissions, the BMW and motorcycle were towed back to the BPD “wash bay,” most likely for storage out of the elements while the investigation continues.

The investigation is active and ongoing, and HN will provide updates as they become available.
