SANDWICH – As you will see in the following HN Video, police and firefighters responded to the Mid-Cape Highway eastbound in the area of Exit 4 early this morning for a single vehicle crash with injuries.

State troopers are investigating what caused a pickup truck to leave the highway, travel up a steep embankment and slam into a tree.

Two were evaluated in two separate ambulances and at least one person was transported to CCH. None of the injuries were described as being life-threatening.
