HN VIDEO: Yarmouth cops investigating break at Bass River Liquors… juvenile suspect in custody…
SOUTH YARMOUTH – As you will see in the following HN Video, at about 12:03 a.m. this morning, Yarmouth Police squad cars rushed toward Bass River Liquors on Routh 28 for a break that had just occurred.
Patrol Officers found a broken window, along with a front door which also had smashed glass.
Squad cars saturated the area and began speaking with the people who were still out on the streets.
As you will see in the HN Video, a state trooper assisted Yarmouth cops by taking a young man into custody nearby, at the intersection of Willow Street and South Street…
Back at the scene, a member of the Sheriff’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit responded to take photos and dust for fingerprints.
Later in the morning, about two and a half hours after the initial break, Yarmouth Police Sergeant Thomas Hennessey informed HN that they had a juvenile suspect in custody.
There were no further details available at the time of this report.
