TOWN OF BARNSTABLE, Massachusetts – [HN NOTES] – In the above HN photo, Barnstable Police and COMM EMTs rushed to an address in Centerville to help an unresponsive teen who was reportedly suffering from alcohol poisoning. Because the patient was described as “unresponsive,” firefighters elevated the call to a “priority one” response. The patient in his late teens was transported to the Cape Cod Hospital emergency room. A second ambulance also responded to the same address for a second patient. Dispatch believed it sounded like a “house party…”

Barnstable Police Officers and Barstable EMTs responded to a hotel for an unresponsive male in the parking lot. The young male was reportedly overdosing, which escalated the response. First responders were able to successfully revive the patient, saving his life. The male was conscious while being placed into an ambulance for transport to Cape Cod Hospital.
