HYANNIS – The night before it was a suspicious dumpster fire; early this morning it was a parked car that was burnt to a crisp…
… and it all happened right next door to each other.
At about 1:00 a.m., and for the second night in a row, Barnstable Police and Hyannis Firefighters rushed to the same Fresh Holes Road neighborhood for a suspicious fire outside in one of residential parking lots.
One official mentioned they are not believing in “coincidences” in this case.
A crime scene photographer was called in and an arson investigator was notified…. and the vehicle burnt to crisp was hauled back to police headquarters where the investigation will continue.
The Barnstable Police Department is investigating and HN will provide official updates as they become available. [DEVELOPING]
