*** WATCH *** First responders parade past Cape Cod Hospital to show their appreciation…
HYANNIS – According to Barnstable Police Patrolman Brian Morrison, one of the organizers, at around 3:00 p.m. this afternoon, available nearby first responders quickly gathered and paraded around Cape Cod Hospital with lights and sirens in a show of appreciation to all of our local health care workers. It’s something local police and firefighters have been wanting to do ever since the recent spike in COVID 19 cases, but until today there has not been enough time. Police and firefighters are well aware of the unprecedented challenges facing our health care workers, and today’s drive by was their simple way to say “thanks.” Today’s first responders are planning on additional displays of appreciation from time to time…
… it is their hope that our health care workers know how much everyone cares.
