HN PHOTOS: Hyannis firefighters handle back-to-back “structure fires” in stride…
HYANNIS – Around 6:30 p.m., Hyannis firefighters responded to Pain D’Avignon on Hinckley Road for a fire in the bakery. Upon arrival, crews began investigating a smoke condition inside the building. A ladder was extended to the roof to investigate. It is believed there had been a fire in a oven’s chimney. No further information available at the time of this report.


Around 7:45 p.m., Hyannis Firefighters responded to a report of a second structure fire on Blueberry Hill Road. Crews were notified en route that the fire had been already extinguished and the home had already been evacuated. Upon arrival, firefighters checked for extension and ventilated the building.
