PHOTOS: Gypsy moth spray truck bursts into flames…
HYANNIS – A member of the All Cape Security Patrol company was able to take some quick snapshots when a truck carrying fertilizer suddenly burst into flames yesterday near the intersection of Main Street and Camp Street.
The driver was able to safely exit uninjured.
The fire involved the engine compartment, cab, and fuel tank areas.
Flaming liquid could be seen dripping onto the pavement, but the fire reportedly did not involve any of the fertilizer.
Police helped temporarily close down the area as Hyannis Firefighters knocked down the flames.
No reported injuries…
