*** WATCH *** Back-to-back suspicious fires in same neighborhood… State Fire Marshal called to investigate… [DEVELOPING]
HYANNIS – [DEVELOPING] – Both very suspicious fires happened back-to-back in the same family neighborhood leading up to midnight last evening. The first was a fully involved car fire in the area of 8 Fresh Holes Road shortly before 11pm. It appeared suspicious. The second fire was at 31 Hiramar Road, a vacant house a block away in the same family neighborhood shortly after 11:30 pm. It too appeared very suspicious. The State Fire Marshal has been called in to investigate. The Hyannis Fire Department and Barnstable Police Department are also actively investigating. There were no reported injuries.
