HYANNIS – [DEVELOPING] – Two men were taken into custody during the overnight after a woman allegedly had a gun pulled on her at an address on Scudder Ave.
At around 3:00 a.m. this morning, Barnstable Police squad cars began searching the area of Scudder Ave and Pitchers Way for a woman who allegedly just had gun pulled on her. The incident allegedly took place at 288 Scudder Ave.
As you will see in the following HN Video, officers located the woman walking along Pitchers Way. They spent time speaking with her, having her sit inside one of the cruisers to get out of the rain and warmed up. About five BPD cruisers then went to 288 Scudder Ave to investigate further.
One adult male was taken into custody on three warrants. Another adult male was taken into custody on charges related Assault By Means of a Dangerous Weapon. [DEVELOPING]
A member of the Barnstable County Sheriff’s crime scene unit responded to take photos and collect evidence. A paper bag full of what appeared to be several firearms was seized from the scene. At this time, it’s unclear whether the weapons seized were actual firearms or BB guns… or both.
The alleged female victim was given a courtesy ride to another Hyannis residence.
The “Dept. of Children and Families” (DCF) also responded to the scene…
