HYANNIS – Police are investigating after an assault victim showed up to Cape Cod Hospital with superficial stab wounds last evening. The victim’s wounds were described as minor and not life threatening, according to sources.
The assault allegedly happened in the North Street parking lot, in an area behind the empty bank building at the corner of Main Street and Winter Street.
According to radio transmissions, a victim reported he was jumped by three males wearing masks…
As you will see and hear in the following HN Video, an individual matching the description was briefly detained and investigated… but ultimately was not believed to be involved.
The investigation into what actually occurred is active and ongoing.
