1. YARMOUTH – According to radio transmissions, a 20-year-old woman suffered serious facial trauma after what was described as a “planter’s hook” attached to a tree that somehow got stuck in her eye around 9:00 p.m. last evening, at an address on Lake Road West. As you will hear in the following HN Video, Yarmouth EMTs immediately made the decision to fly the young woman to an off-Cape trauma center. No further details available at the time of this report…

2. MARSTONS MILLS – As you will hear in the following HN Video, Barnstable Police are looking for a man who allegedly broke into a residence on Osterville/West Barnstable Road early this morning. A woman at the residence told police there was a male inside her house that she wished to have gone. This is an unusual story because according to radio traffic, and online research, the suspect is a local business owner in his early 50s. It does not appear to be a domestic or relationship related incident at this time, and it’s unclear whether the home owner and suspect actually know each other at all. But according to police radio traffic, there is “PC” to arrest the suspect for Breaking and Entering. HN will update and clarify this report as official details become available.

3. MASHPEE – A B.O.L.O. broadcast by the Mashpee Police Department had HN moving closer to their town last evening. As you will hear in the following HN Video, it appears Falmouth and Mashpee Police were looking for the driver of a black Nissan Altima who had allegedly fired gunshots out the car window. Radio transmissions did not mention any injuries or additional details. No further information available at the time of this report…
