HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS — Plainclothes Barnstable Police officers pulled over a white sedan in Hyannis Friday evening around 9 p.m., leading to the detention of a man and woman and the seizure of a significant quantity of suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

Officers searched the vehicle at the scene and recovered bags of suspected narcotics along with suspected drug paraphernalia. A members of the sheriff’s crime scene unit documented the evidence with photographs before securing it in evidence bags.

The investigation was active and ongoing at the time of this report.
