*** HYANNIS VIOLENCE *** HOME HIT W/ GUNSHOT + THEN 3 JUVENILES ARRESTED FOR SEPARATE ROBBERY + THEN WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER MAN HIT W/ PEPPER SPRAY
HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN VIDEO NOTES] – [THREE SEPARATE DEVELOPING STORIES] – The following two HN Videos cover three separate incidents from the overnight. The first video begins briefly with three juveniles being tracked down and arrested by multiple Barnstable Police officers for an alleged unarmed robbery. Officers were not taking any chances because they had just cleared a nearby scene where a home was hit with at least one bullet. The bullet entered the home and caused a couple of holes. A spent .22 caliber shell casing was located in the street in front of the home, along with a live .22 round. The home on Fisher Road was occupied by a mother and her minor children of varying ages. Nobody was injured despite the bullet apparently traveling into and through the home.
The second video shows a woman from Maine being arrested after a violent encounter in the area of Main Street early this morning. Police responded to a parking lot at the corner of High School Road and Main Street for a disturbance between a man and a woman. The man was said to have a knife… but when police arrived, they found the man suffering from being hit with pepper spray in the face. Hyannis FD Rescue responded to treat the man for pepper spray exposure. Police then searched for and located the female who had allegedly sprayed the man. After an investigation into the matter, the woman from Maine ended up being the one arrested for Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (pepper spray). When police were talking to her, she told them she did not like men… but it’s unclear whether that had anything to do with the felony she is being accused of.
