ICE Boston Arrests Two Criminal Illegal Aliens in Hyannis: Violent Assault Suspect and Re-Entered Felon Taken Off the Streets
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Boston carried out targeted operations in Hyannis, Massachusetts, resulting in the arrests of two criminal illegal aliens with serious records.
On June 10, officers arrested Jose Ricardo Pimentel Dos Santos, a criminal illegal alien from Brazil. He faces pending charges for assault with a dangerous weapon, intimidation, strangulation/suffocation, and assault and battery on a family member. He also has a prior arrest for assault, violation of an abuse prevention order, and intimidation.
On June 24, ICE arrested Carlos Oswaldo Vasquez-Silva, a previously removed criminal illegal alien from Ecuador who had illegally reentered the United States after deportation. Vasquez-Silva was convicted of possession of false identity documents and sentenced to two years of probation. He remains in ICE custody pending removal.
These arrests by Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Boston removed two individuals with documented criminal histories from New England communities through standard immigration enforcement actions.
