Juvenile stabbed at CC Mall… another juvenile in custody… [Video]
Hyannis – At about 9pm, police received a report that a juvenile male had just been stabbed in the area outside of the mall near the food court…
The suspect, another juvenile, 15 to 16 years old, had reportedly fled the scene on a bicycle.
Police met with witnesses, all juveniles, near the entrance to Days Inn on Route 132… while other police were still trying to locate the victim and Hyannis Rescue staged nearby…
Police finally caught up to the victim in the area of the Regal Cinemas. The victim had a non-life-threatening stab wound to his shoulder area and rescue transported him to Cape Cod Hospital..
At about the same time of rescue leaving the scene, members of the SCU located the suspect riding his bicycle along Phinney’s Lane near BPD Headquarters…
The suspect was reportedly uncooperative and volatile with police… But officers managed to place him under arrest for charges involving the stabbing and disorderly conduct…
The juvenile was then transported about 50 yards to BPD Headquarters for booking…
Meanwhile, a crime scene photographer met other officers and the victim at CCH where the investigation continued. Police learned that the victim knew the suspect’s full name…
