*** LISTEN *** TWO MALES WITH STAB WOUNDS AT HYANNIS RESIDENCE…
HYANNIS – Barnstable Police responded to 52 Compass Circle at around 10:17 a.m. yesterday morning – Saturday, August 6, 2022 – for two males with stab wounds to their arms.
Two Hyannis FD ambulances also responded. EMTs donned bulletproof vests while staging nearby. The ambulances continued to the residence once officers secured the scene. As you will hear in the following HN “video,” EMTs radioed that a tourniquet would be necessary for one of the patients. A HFD engine also eventually responded to the scene to assist.
According to police radio traffic, both suspects were still on scene. At one point the term suspect/victim was used during police chatter. It’s unknown whether or not the two males had been in a fight with each other…
HN reached out to the Barnstable Police Department for additional details and will update this report when a official statement becomes available.
A member of the Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit responded to assist with photos at Cape Cod Hospital.
