SANDWICH – As you will see in the following HN Video, a man was taken into custody for suspicion of Operating Under the Influence after police and firefighters responded to a two vehicle crash in front of the Meetinghouse Package Store at 263 Cotuit Road earlier this evening at about 9:15 p.m..

One vehicle had heavy front-end damage. Both vehicles needed to be towed from the scene.

Sandwich Firefighters evaluated passengers at the scene but nobody needed to be transported.

The Sandwich Police Department is investigating the crash.
