MARSTONS MILLS – A young woman suffered possible broken bones and head trauma after the car she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree head-on Sunday evening.
At around 10:25 p.m. – 3/27/22 – Barnstable Police and Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills Firefighters rushed to the intersection of Lovell’s Lane and River Road after receiving a call from a resident who heard the crash and came out of his house to help. First responders were also alerted about the possible severity of the young woman’s injuries, along with a report that the car appeared to be catching on fire.
The patient, described as a 19-year-old female, was eventually transported to Beth Israel Hospital in Plymouth, and from there airlifted to another unspecified trauma center in the region…
