During the press conference Cape and Islands District Attorney Michael O’Keefe urged Sterling to turn himself in so that there will be no harm to the public and so “that there will be no harm that will come to Mr. Sterling if he makes the wise decision to – wherever he is – to reach out to the police department in the town wherever he is and make an arrangement to surrender himself, or certainly he could call that phone number.” The phone number that Mr. Sterling – or anyone with information on his whereabouts – is urged to call is 1-800-KAPTURE (or 1-800-527-8873).
