At about 3:20AM, police and rescue rushed to the intersection of Route 28 and Osterville/West Barnstable Road for a two car MVA…
At least one patient was said to be trapped inside a vehicle…
Medics initially called for three Medflights.
Two of the women were airlifted. The third patient was transported by ambulance to a nearby trauma center…

UPDATE – COMM PRESS STATEMENT – COMM Fire responded to a MVC with 2 vehicles heavily damaged. There were a total of 4 patients, 3 in one car and one in the other. 2 patients were out of the vehicles upon our arrival and 2 patients from one vehicle were extricated with the Jaws of Life.Two 20 year old females were transported to the Marstons Mills airport by COMM and Cotuit ambulances and medflighted to Boston Medical Center. One male patient, unknown age was transported by COMM Ambulance to South Shore medical center. All three with potentially life threatening injuries. A fourth male patient was transported to Cape Cod Hospital by West Barnstable ambulance with non life threatening inuries.
