ABOVE PHOTOS: This past Thursday afternoon, Yarmouth and State Police responded to the Mitsubishi dealership on Route 28 in Yarmouth after employees reported hearing two shotgun blasts and possible birdshot raining down on the building and trees. Officers located a hunter at a nearby conservation area on Winslow Gray Road. The hunter had the proper licenses and police officers turned the incident over to the Yarmouth Department of Natural Resources for further investigation.

ABOVE PHOTO: This past Saturday evening, a high ranking member of the SCU used humor to help defray tension after his men arrested a female patron at the Shanghai Chinese Restaurant on Ridgewood Ave in Hyannis. The arrest was part of an ongoing investigation and no further details are available at this time.



ABOVE PHOTOS: This past Saturday evening, an elderly grandmother was with her young grandson in the parking lot outside Friendly’s Restaurant on Route 132 in Hyannis when she fell and broke her wrist. Police and rescue rushed to the scene after it was reported there was heavy bleeding. Barnstable Patrolman Peter Myrbeck, and others, did their best to make the situation less scary for the young grandson as his grandmother was transported to CCH for treatment.

ABOVE PHOTO: Police and rescue responded to the Duck Inn Pub in Hyannis this past Saturday evening after an elderly patron fell off his barstool and needed to be transported to CCH for treatment.


ABOVE PHOTOS: Police speak with a witness after a fight this past Saturday evening at the 586 Bar on Main Street. A man was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct.

ABOVE PHOTO: Government social workers (DCF) requested police come along as they visited a residence in the town of Barnstable last evening. They suspected the parents were taking drugs and were prepared to remove the children from their custody if necessary. After careful investigation by both police and social workers, the children were allowed to remain in the home.
