Above photo: Early Sunday morning a man was found laying in the middle of South Street and bleeding from the head…

… Hyannis Rescue arrived in front of the Saint Francis Xavier Church where the stricken man was placed onto a backboard and transported to CCH.

Nearby witnesses described the man’s issues with gravity as perhaps related to alcohol or some other substance which could render someone susceptible to a common HyTown condition known as Sudden Body Drop (SBD)…
… regardless, one witness said it wasn’t his first fall while attempting to navigate the tricky South Street sidewalk, but it turned out to be his last… at least for this particular evening.

Above photo: Police needed to escort a National Grid employee into the Fresh Holes Road neighborhood this past Friday, because the last time he tried it alone, “kids” pelted his van with rocks…

Above photo: A minor collision slowed traffic on Route 28 near the intersection of Route 149… COMM rescue needed to respond for one of the drivers for unspecified reasons…

Above photo: An elderly woman caused property damage as she suddenly drove through a fence at Dick Beard Chevrolet and Subaru…
… nobody was hurt.

Above photo: There were some guys playing Christmas tunes on trumpets in the downtown area on Saturday…

… peace was restored and there was once again jubilation in The Village.

Overall it was a pretty good day.

But let us not forget about the young victims of last night’s tragic fire…
