Motorcycle vs. car in East Sandwich… 3 evaluated… 1 transported… [HN VIDEO]
EAST SANDWICH – All involved were out walking around after a motorcycle vs. car collision shortly after midnight this morning.
Sandwich police and firefighters responded to Old County Road near Volunteer Road for what was initially reported as a two vehicle crash with no injuries… then moments later there was a report of a possible head injury. When HN arrived on scene, all involved, the motorcyclist and at least two occupants of the vehicle were all up walking around with possible minor injuries, if any.
An adult male, believed to be the operator of the motorcycle, was transported to CCH for further evaluation of what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. (He was able to walk into the back of the ambulance without assistance.)
The Harley Davidson motorcycle was hoisted onto the back of a pickup truck and hauled from the scene. The four-door sedan was also hauled from scene on the back of flatbed duty wrecker.
The Sandwich Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash. No further details were available at the time of this report and the following HN Video highlights the entire scene…
