SHOCK VIDEO: Yarmouth officer kicked onto pavement by crazed drunk… she immediately rallies, gets back into fray, takes suspect into custody… [DEVELOPING]
YARMOUTH – [DEVELOPING] Four Yarmouth Police squad cars responded to the Speedway Gas station this afternoon to check on a man passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle with the music blaring.
As you will see in the following HN Reader cell phone video, at some point during the encounter, a Maryland man became belligerent and physically resisted officers…
According to Yarmouth Police Sergeant Thomas Hennessy, a Tazer was deployed… and the man was eventually subdued and taken into custody. He was charged with OUI, Driving without a License, a couple of counts of Assault & Battery on a Police Officer, along with Resisting Arrest.
As you will see in the following HN Reader cell phone video, an officer was kicked and knocked back onto the pavement… but the resilient officer quickly rallied and got right back into the fray, helping to take her suspect into custody!
Officers were reportedly a little banged up and sore, but nobody needed additional medical attention.
