HN VIDEO: Two serious separate crashes at the Otis Rotary just...

BOURNE – Police and firefighters suddenly found themselves very busy last evening when there were two separate serious crashes at the Otis Rotary just before midnight.

HN made the journey to take a look and as you will see in the following HN Video, one car somehow flew over a guardrail and landed down a steep wooded gully along the Route 28 median, just south of the rotary…

… it took some pretty fancy hoisting to finally remove the mangled wreck.

In the second crash, a full-size pickup slammed into some trees along the rotary’s shoulder.

Sources on scene said there were two patients transported from the pickup truck accident. One patient had head injuries. Both were expected to survive.

Information regarding possible injuries in the first crash was not available at the time of this report.
