Shots fired, wounded woman arrives at CCH after “ambush,” “Little Ant” remains suspect…
Hyannis – At 2:11am multiple shots ring out in the area between Lafrance Ave and Country Garden on West Main Street.
Numerous Barnstable Police patrol units zero in…
One address sticks out like a sore thumb…
…398 West Main Street, Apartment 2C, home of – you guessed it! – Anthony “Little Ant” Russ. (You know, the one who should currently be in jail, but isn’t… thanks to the liberal idiotic Barnstable Court Judges that have plagued greater Hyannis by letting little thugs right back on the streets to commit more mayhem… more on that whole story later…)
At 2:56am Cape Cod Hospital Security reportedly calls the Barnstable PD informing them a female had just walked into the ER with gunshot wounds. Describing some sort of “drive-by ambush” scenario. More cops fly to CCH to secure that scene. Which may have involved a vehicle being taken in as evidence.
Unofficial reports say the female’s wounds are not life threatening. Also, that she is not naming names… Detective John York is called in on the case. (York and other investigators were still working piecing things together until long after the sun came up today.)
At approximately 3:15am police have all subjects in above photo secured, some in handcuffs, while they begin to try to sort things out.
Suspects shrewdly lock police out of apartment as they “cooperate” with police outside on balcony.
No evidence found as yet to hold anyone… not even “Little Ant.”
At 4:19am, a reliable source and video puts Little Ant Russ in a white Impala idling next to a black Nissan parked in front of the Main Entrance of CCH, with some of the subjects from the balcony. They speed away when noticed.
Important information for investigators… what were they doing there? With the victim of the shooting a narrow hallway away, still being treated in the ER…
Could all this be the work of our notoriously busy Little Ant? Or is this the work of some other reckless fiend?
