Sunday “PROBLEM PROPERTY” disturbance disrupts family neighborhood… [VIDEO]
HYANNIS – Four Barnstable squad cars rushed to 149A Sea Street for a report of a fight involving several combatants. People scattered as patrols made their way through Sunday traffic.
According to sources on scene, the incident started when a neighbor became fed up with residents at 149A Sea Street using foul language.
Words were exchanged and tempers flared. Officers arrived just in the nick of time to prevent things from escalating further.
Two residents of 149A Sea Street were arrested for charges relating to disorderly conduct.
According to neighbors, 149A Sea Street has become a major problem property, requiring frequent calls to the authorities.
In fact, police responded to 149A Sea Street just last night for a report of female wielding a baseball bat and chasing an unwanted man around the property.

Today, HN spoke with several neighbors who are fed up with the constant problems related to 149A Sea Street. A wide array of authorities in town have been notified about the ongoing problems at this residence and neighbors are frustrated that nothing has changed.
There have been allegations of the sale and usage of dangerous drugs, such as heroin, related to individuals who come and go from 149A Sea Street. Neighbors are at their wits end and will no longer tolerate blatant criminal activity so close to their homes. Some may even begin filming criminal activity and send it in to be published.
Today’s scene was very disruptive to both neighbors and people passing by. Police responding to this address is common and today’s scene was typical.
