BARNSTABLE – According to a Yarmouth Police Department media release, this past Friday evening at about 8:00 pm, members of the Proactive Anti-Crime Unit [PAC Unit] encountered two people sitting inside a blue 1998 Buick LaSabre parked outside a grocery store in South Yarmouth.

While investigating further, one of the occupants was allegedly found to be in possession of crack cocaine and heroin.

A digital scale and a small amount of cash were also located and seized.

Wise Mecca Allah – also known as Jamar J. Bland – age 38, of Howard Ave in the City of Attleboro, was arrested and charged with one count of Possession to Distribute a Class A Drug, two counts of Possession to Distribute a Class B Drug, and one count of Possession of a Class B Drug – Subsequent Offense.

A computer check revealed Wise Mecca Allah had 60 priors in Massachusetts.

Wise Mecca Allah was transported back to YPD Headquarters, booked, and held over the weekend on $2,500 cash bail.

At his arraignment Yesterday – Monday – a Barnstable District Court Judge reportedly revoked Wise Mecca Allah’s bail and he was transported to the Barnstable County Correctional Facility in Bourne, to be held until his next court date.
