THREE INDICTED IN BRUTAL SLAYING OF DOUGLAS ROSE [HN MURDER SCENE VIDEO W/ CURRENT DETAILS]
FALMOUTH, Massachusetts – This past September – 9/22/22 – at approximately 6:25 pm, Falmouth Police received a 911 call regarding a disturbance outside of 250 Davisville Rd in Falmouth.
Upon arrival, police encountered Douglas M. Rose (dob 8/15/81) of Falmouth, outside of the residence, suffering from apparent stab wounds.
Falmouth Fire & Rescue immediately rendered medical assistance and transported Rose to Falmouth Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Evidence at the time suggested the dispute resulting in Mr. Rose’s death involved narcotics and $600 dollars, according to a statement released by former District Attorney Michael O’Keefe.
State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office and Falmouth Police continued the investigation throughout the winter.
On this past Tuesday, March 28, 2023, recently sworn in Cape & Islands District Attorney Robert J. Galibois announced that a Grand Jury had indicted Kimberly McCarthy, 52, of East Falmouth, Tishaun Miller, 42, of East Bridgewater, and Charee Rainey, 41, of Brighton for their roles in the brutal slaying of Douglas Rose, then 41, on September 22, 2022 in the town of Falmouth – according to an official statement from the DA’s Office.
All three were indicted on the charges of Murder, Assault and Battery Dangerous Weapon, Breaking and Entering, Kidnapping and Conspiracy.
The charges stem from this past winter’s investigation by the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit and the Falmouth Police Department.
Assistant District Attorney Michael Giardino will be prosecuting the cases.
