HN VIDEO: Two women hurt after SUV reportedly rolls over 6 times…

MARSTONS MILLS – One of the occupants reportedly said the SUV rolled over 6 times.

At about 2:15 AM this morning, Barnstable Police and COMM Firefighters responded to Route 28 near the intersection with South County Road after a SUV struck a large boulder and landed on its roof.

Both the female driver and female passenger were hurt but somehow managed to climb out of the wreckage on their own.

Both occupants were transported to CCH.

The large boulder landed in the middle of the roadway and needed to be carefully pushed and hoisted over the curbing by the flatbed operator. (It was a pretty impressive piece of wrecker driver prowess…)

The Barnstable Police Department is investigating the crash.
