Hyannis – At 4:56pm, a 24-year-old only had her learner’s permit and should not have been out driving when she lost control and struck a building when turning into the apartment complex where she lives…
Police responded to Cromwell Court Apartments at 168 Barnstable Road, where a vehicle crashed into the corner apartment very near to where children sleep…
Hyannis Firefighters responded to ensure the vehicle did not ignite and to inspect the building for structural damage. The building was not structurally damaged, with the cement foundation taking most of the impact…
There were no reported injuries…
When police first arrived they could not find the driver… she said her phone had gone dead and went to call police…
The unnamed female will be charged with Operating to Endanger and Operating a Motor Vehicle without a License… she will be summoned in on both criminal charges…
