VIDEO: Staties looking for male who fled traffic stop… female passenger in custody…
YARMOUTH – DEVELOPING – State police are looking for a male driver who fled a traffic stop on Willow Street just south of Route 6 last evening at about 8:45PM.
According to radio transmissions, the female passenger was the first one who tried to flee and when the trooper was focusing on her, the driver also took off from the vehicle on foot.
The female passenger is currently in custody.
After no luck finding a local K-9, two state police K-9 units responded…
Both K-9 units eventually arrived and searched the immediate area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
According to radio traffic, police have identified the driver and are working on strong leads as to his whereabouts…
No other information was available at the time of this report.
