*** WATCH *** CAR HIT WITH BULLETS AFTER GUNFIRE ERUPTS AT CRAIGVILLE BEACH [UPDATED]
BPD MEDIA STATEMENT/UPDATE – May 28, 2023:
In the early evening hours of Saturday May 27, 2023 the Barnstable Police Department received a report of gunshots in the Craigville Beach parking lot. One individual received minor lacerations from broken glass during the incident. Members from the Barnstable Police Patrol Division and Investigative Services Division responded to the scene and began an investigation into the incident that is active and ongoing. This incident appears to be targeted and does not appear to be random at this time. UPDATE 5/27/23 @ 11pm: No reports of any arrests yet … shooter(s) reportedly still at large.
