HYANNIS – Busy early evening for Hyannis cops. The following HN Video shows the scene earlier this evening in the East End when male was arrested for failing to stop for police, along with other motor vehicle charges. A female was also arrested on a warrant. Meanwhile, in the West End, two women were reportedly fighting in the middle of the street. Police and rescue responded and encountered a woman who had a little too much to drink. The intoxicated woman reportedly tried to enter a vehicle that belong to another woman… and that’s when things escalated. Officers spoke with the intoxicated woman and apparently gave her the option of going back home until she sobered up… or going along with them… the woman decided to walk home. The other woman was in good spirits despite the insanity, and reportedly was just closing up her shop when the drunk lady allegedly tried to enter her vehicle. Nobody was hurt, so the situation was chalked up as “just another Thursday night in Hyannis.”
