TWO ARRESTED IN FALMOUTH HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION
UPDATE – DA’S MEDIA STATEMENT – 10/28/2022:
Cape & Islands District Attorney Michael O’Keefe announced [yesterday] that James Blood (aka Hector, DOB: 12/27/82) of Lynn and Cynthia Rubin (DOB:11/19/78) of Reading were arraigned today in connection with the death of Corey Lowe on October 24th, 2022 in Falmouth.
Mr. Blood was arraigned on charges of Home Invasion and Assault and Battery Dangerous Weapon.
Ms. Rubin was arraigned on charges of Home Invasion and two counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
The charges stem from an incident on October 24th, 2022. Falmouth Police received a 911 call regarding a stabbing at an East Falmouth residence. Upon arrival they found Corey Lowe (DOB 8/2/93) of Falmouth, seriously injured. He was transported to a Boston area hospital where he was pronounced deceased Wednesday, October 26, 2022.
Both defendants are held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing on 11/4/2022. The matter remains under investigation by Falmouth Police and State Police detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office.

*** NOW A HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION: 29-YEAR-OLD FALMOUTH MAN SUCCUMBS TO HIS INJURIES
Cape & Islands District Attorney Michael O’Keefe announced today that the subject of yesterday’s press release has succumbed to his injuries.
On Monday October 24th, Falmouth Police received a 911 call regarding a stabbing at an East Falmouth residence. Upon arrival they found Corey Lowe, (DOB 8/2/93) of Falmouth, seriously injured. He was transported to a Boston area hospital where he was pronounced deceased
yesterday evening.
The matter remains underinvestigation by Falmouth Police and State Police detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office.

Cape & Islands District Attorney Michael O’Keefe and Falmouth Police Chief Edward Dunne announced this morning that at approximately 11:29 pm Monday October 24th, Falmouth Police received a 911 regarding a stabbing at an East Falmouth residence. Upon arrival they found a subject seriously injured. He was transported to a Boston area hospital by ambulance where he is still being treated for his injuries. A trial of blood led to a parking lot across the highway where it abruptly stopped adjacent to a parking space.
This does not appear to be a random event. The preliminary investigation suggests the public is not in any danger. Falmouth Police and State Police detectives assigned to the District
Attorney’s Office are continuing the investigation.

*** WATCH *** MAJOR ONGOING INVESTIGATION: STATE AND FALMOUTH POLICE WORKING STABBING SCENE…
EAST FALMOUTH – At around 11:30 p.m. last evening, police and fire responded to a residence behind 442 East Falmouth Highway (Route 28). From radio transmissions, it sounds like a male was stabbed in the leg and that it could be life-threatening. Route 28 was completely closed down and the entire area was cordoned off with crime scene tape. Falmouth Police and State Police Detectives assigned to the DA’s office were on scene investigating at the time of this report. A state police crime scene tech was also on scene… [DEVELOPING]
