HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS – [VIDEO NOTES] – Downtown Hyannis was busy with pedestrian and vehicle traffic last evening when a parked motorcycle burst into flames at the intersection of Main Street and High School Road. Police and firefighters were dispatched around 8:18 p.m. As you will see and hear in the video, Barnstable Police officers arrived quickly and began diverting traffic away from the blaze. A Hyannis Fire Department engine arrived shortly after the flames began to spread to parked SUV.
