*** WATCH *** “Ralph the coyote” (Part 1)
HN NOTES: I’ve put together a quick HN Video using some recent dashcam footage and snapshots of a coyote I named “Ralph.” I’m worried about Ralph because someone is apparently feeding him and his other two pack mates… and they’re getting fat, which I believe is unhealthy. And I believe whoever is feeding these downtown Hyannis coyotes are setting these beautiful wild creatures up for failure in the worst way! For a litany of reasons – the worst perhaps being their loss of fear for humans!
The following brief HN Video is entitled “Ralph the coyote.” (I’m assuming “Ralph” is a large male coyote/coywolf. I haven’t been close enough to see otherwise… but Ralph leads a small pack of 3, himself and two other younger, slightly smaller coyotes. The younger coyotes are usually nearby and hidden. They appear to all hunt as a team, using triangulation tactics… with Ralph being the one that is typically out front or in the lead.)
